From Banca Vonwiller to Banque Morval:
a history of entrepreneurial banking excellence
Banca Vonwiller is created in Milan by Nicolas Vonwiller, a Swiss merchant from Bern.
The Zanon di Valgiurata family becomes a shareholder.
Morgan Guaranty Trust becomes a major investor and the bank changes its name to Banca Morgan Vonwiller.
The Zanon di Valgiurata family creates Morval, an asset management company based in Switzerland.
Having obtained FINMA approval to operate as a securities dealer, Morval receives its banking license and adopts the name by which it is known today, Banque Morval.
